Dr. Vern Swanson
Dr. Swanson is a noted authority on the art of Utah, Russian art, and Nineteenth Century European Art. He has published numerous books on various art topics. Since 1982 Swanson has been appraising, authenticating, and cataloguing British and Continental classical paintings for auction houses world-wide. He has been Museum Director of the Springville Museum of Art since 1980, and since that time has expanded the size and quality of it’s facilities and permanent collection..
